In this video: I use 1x1 angle iron and 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x .095 square tubing to build theis foot pegs. One tube is cut at 11" and the other is cut at 12" . The center bar that is welded to the under side of the Kart is 11 3/4.
It turned out looking more bulky looking then I thought it would but I'm still happy with it.

In this video: This video is part #1 of 2 , I set up the jackshafts aline the sprokets and put on the chains. All chain is #41 ... all sprokets are #41 also. This is the set-up a Comet 30 series Torque converter links the engine ( 6.5 ) to the first jackshaft ie. ( JS), on the first JS is a 14 tooth sprocket with a chain leading over to the second JS that has a 10 tooth sproket. Then there is another 10 tooth sproket leading to the drive sproket on the axle 54 tooth. The wheel is 15"

In this video: I fabricate the front fenders, useing 1 x 1 x 1/8 flat stock and 20 gauge steel. I state in the video that the bends are 45 degrees but I had to chang that to 20 deg. on the lower bend and 30 deg. on the upper.

In this video I show what modifications I do to my Harbor Freight 6.5 engine. I have to remove the gas tank because the steering shaft will collide with it, it will be moved to the rear, above the tire.
I also modify the air intake for the carburetor so the air will come in from the front of the filter houseing insted of the bottom.

New Hydraulic Brake set-up

I just got this new brake set-up the other day and I'm pritty happy about it. I'll be useing this on the build of the next kart ( for my little boy Cody ).

In this video I started to clean the carburetor and came across a bunch of crap that was inside the area of the diaphram. Some bug got inside and looks like it nested, There was peddles and clippings of grass that went all the way down the choke port.

Hey were making progress.

I'll just mention again that if you own or can borrow most any functioning Ignition coil and 2 spark plug wires off a car or truck, you could
use them to test start your engine. I've expanded below how to wire up the coils + and - wires. Then all you'd have to do is rig both
spark plug wires together into your coils single output. Your engines original coil fired both spark plugs simultaneously just like this,
it just had dual spark plug wire outputs.

Ok cool, its a 77.
Below is the correct 1977/B2 schematic and I've updated my wiring identification info from my previous post:

1- Rectifier ground wire (I'd connect this to the same location your negative battery cable bolts to the engine)

2- Rectifier power feed (connects to + side of battery)

3- Rectifier. (It converts A/C to D/C voltage)

4, 5 and 6 are the three AC-voltage legs coming from your engines charging coil.
(looks like that plug just went bad and they bypassed 2 of the wires around it)

For now your engine would start and run fine without #1 through 6 or #12 connected. (they're all just to charge the battery)

#7 was probably just used as a main power source for everything except the starter.

#8 gets connected to your battery's positive post.

#9 and #10 are both used to activate your starter relay, you could just permanently ground the black one and have a push button switch send
power to the yellow to crank the engine over.

#11 is the starter relay. (this relay is a heavy duty switch that can be electrically activated from a small light duty switch)

#12 - I suspect its the voltage regulator plug, but I need a wire count and they're colors going to that plug to be absolutely sure.
(once again your engine would most likely start and run for now without this connected)

#13 is going to your points and condenser.
It gets connected to the negative (-) side of your coil. (most all coils have 2 wire connections labeled + and -) The positive side of your coil
could connect up to any type of 2-wire on/off switch you want, that switch would get its power source from the positive side of the battery (or #7)

Let me know if you have any questions.

When you get ready to do the final wiring in the kart, I'll tell you about installing a few In-line fuses just in case anything ever shorts out.

This is my new engine Its a KZ 750 Kawasaki, designed to deliver 55hp at 7000rpm comes with a matter displacement modulator to generate a zero point inversion. Also implemented into the sub chassis is an acoustic suppression flask. But it didn’t come with a gas tank.

Merry Christmas everyone. We are planing on opening gifts sat. morning. I grew up opening up the gifts on x-mas eve and the misses opend them on the morning of . We decided to open them in the morning because there is going to be some last minute stuff we need to get. I plan on taking the kids out tomorrow and pulling them around on their sled with the kart. Should be fun.

I did this video to show some of my YT subscribers what it looked like when it was finished.

In the summer of 08 I started mowing lawns as an extra form of income for the house. In that time I came across one customer that had a go kart sitting out behind their house not driven for years. I asked if they would be interested in selling it to me and they did. I took it home and had to get a new motor, and torque converter for it. I drove that thing around with my kids for the rest of the summer, they loved it.
It started getting cold outside and the lawn mowing business dropped out. There I was with a lot of time.
I started thinking of how fun it was to drive that go kart around and thought to my self " I would like to try to build one" , so I started to search the internet and I was coming across a lot of designs that I didn't like, there were the real plane frame ones , I didn't like those because they were to generic looking, Then there were the off road ones, I didn't like those because they were to springy looking, then there were the racing ones and those don't work very good on grass and dirt roads.
I then started my search in designs of futuristic looking cars, and then it happened ( I saw the movie trailer for batman the dark knight) Oh…. that car would be cool to build as a go kart, then I thought " hey the first dark knight movie came out in 05 so there has to be some one out there that has built a go kart version of it"
I started my search, and searched some more, Nothing. "What!!! No one has done this", I told my girl friend about it and then I said " I'm going to do it" "I'll be the first one" . "Ya right" she said "you've never done that stuff befor"

The build of the T-kart started in November of 08, I started building it up in a CAD program called Solid Works.
Taking measurements of my own body and estimating placement of parts and structure I started designing.
First was the arms/front and how they would hold the tires and structure in relation to the look of the car. Then came the rear end, then the mid-frame, and Finally the panels.
In the time I was designing this, it came to mind that I should see if others would be interested in building one also. That is when I decided that I was going to sell the plans , so I had better do a good job.
The weather started getting warmer. I started a build log on Chickslovethecar.com (http://www.chickslovethecar.com/board/Topic73566-27-1.aspx)
Feb. 9, 2009 Time to attack.
The lawn mowing season hadn't started yet, so I had time to start and get a good amount don.
I started working on the middle frame of the kart. When I got that done I would go into the house and post pictures of my progress on the build log. That is what I did for 5 months strait, everyday. I knew the lawn mowing season would be starting up so I was on a time limit.
The popularity started early, two months after I started my build a fellow member of the build log (Conrad) informed me the it was being carried by Google (search tumbler go kart). A few weeks went by and I decided to start posting videos.
Not to much attention at first until I made my video of me driving it. Then after I had it done I started to sell the plans on Ebay. Then it happened, someone, big, saw my eBay listing and the video that I put on it and then everything went crazy.
August 10th (my 36th birthday ) 2009 the views of the video of me driving it started to skyrocket. The video was getting posted to big websites like
